Shingo Fukuda
Fukuda Shingo
Born and raised in Kagoshima. As an acupuncturist working in medical and care settings for many years, he repeatedly heard from people who had given up on travel. "With the right support, so many more people could enjoy traveling." — That conviction led him to found FUKU-TABI. As a universal tourism specialist, he continues to face each traveler's wish to go.

Our Mission
The desire to travel exists in everyone. But for those who need physical support, travel can become something 'difficult.' Anxiety about transportation, difficulty finding a caregiver, lack of barrier-free information — we want to remove these hurdles one by one, creating a society where everyone can enjoy travel with peace of mind.
How It Started
This service was launched by members who have been involved in welfare and care in Kagoshima Prefecture. In our work, we repeatedly heard 'I want to travel, but it's difficult alone.' The support exists, but the system to find it doesn't — we started this service to bridge that gap.
What We Value
Respecting the traveler's pace
The caregiver is not the main character — the traveler's ability to enjoy 'the places they want to go, at the pace they want' is our top priority.
Building safety and trust carefully
Rather than a perfect system, we handle each case with care. We build trust through careful communication with both travelers and caregivers.
Growing from Kagoshima
We start by building a track record and trust in Kagoshima. We aim to grow a locally rooted service and eventually expand nationwide.
